Therapists in V9N
Many of the clients I work with are feeling "stuck" and are looking for support to move towards their goals. Feeling stuck often coincides with feelings of depression and anxiety. My clients and I work together to develop healthy coping strategies and to achieve satisfaction in their daily lives. My therapeutic work is grounded in humanistic and constructivist theories, meaning I believe the relationship between the client and the therapist is essential for fostering change and growth. I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of BC and have over 15 years of training and experience in psychotherapy.

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled in your life, unsure of how to move forward? Everyone struggles sometimes and we are not meant to do so alone. Life can throw us all kinds of intense challenges that may leave us feeling disoriented and disconnected; not even recognizing who we are anymore. I believe we all have the capacity to create meaningful change with the right support. My intention is to create a non-judgemental space for you to better understand and express yourself in a way that allows you to emerge reconnected to your own inherent wisdom.

I specialize in working with families experiencing grief, trauma and general mental health issues. The goal of counselling would be to provide a safe place where individuals can explore barriers to personal growth.

I work with individual adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and the persistent echoes of trauma. I have experience working with survivors of relational trauma and trauma related to adverse childhood experiences as well as those who experience ADHD, PTSD and C-PTSD. Clients often reach out to me for my warmth, genuine caring, and deep belief that healing is possible. I can help you build up grounding and regulation skills, identify the unconscious patterns that undermine your life, and help you find healthier, expansive, and more flexible ways of relating - to yourself, to others, and to the world.

Those seeking counselling bring a wide range of concerns, including: conflicted or broken relationships, family conflict, loss and bereavement, depression and anxiety, career and vocation, and trauma, both past and present. I often meet with people at important transitions in their lives, such as: preparing for marriage, navigating parenting challenges, facing the loss of a loved one, or a change in their work lives. For many, counselling is helpful in untangling the web of family relationships.

Is the world too loud, fast-paced, and overwhelming? Do you feel things more deeply and notice subtleties that others miss? Being part of a society that is not designed for those with high sensitivity can often lead to anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem. Trying to “keep up” to those with a majority temperament may leave you feeling burned out and unable to show up for yourself and those you love in the ways that you want and deserve. Learning to understand your unique expression of this innate trait allows for you not only to survive, but to thrive and see the beautiful gifts of being a highly sensitive person (HSP).

Hi, everyone. Individuals, couples and poly folks tend to seek me out because I’m clear-headed, sincere and deeply hopeful. So, if you’re having feelings of anger, disconnection or overwhelming anxiety, we can find ways for you to feel lighter, easier, more certain. People processing childhood trauma and abuse, or grappling with low self-esteem, powerlessness and grief — they find relief here too. We start with what feels helpful for you — sometimes that’s having a safe sounding board; other times it’s having a co-problem solver with tools right beside you. My sense of humour is a plus, so is my endless curiosity and compassion.
