I approach each session with the goal of creating a safe and inclusive space for all individuals. I believe in the importance of understanding and embracing diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and ability. I am particularly passionate about working with the queer community, women, and those in traditional and non-traditional relationship arrangements. I am also motivated by helping clients achieve the right balance between work and life. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental and understanding space for clients to explore their identities and experiences.
I use evidence-based approaches such as person-centered practices, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and psycho-education to help clients better understand the origin of their symptoms and develop new strategies for coping. My services are tailored to the unique needs of each client and focus on helping them develop effective coping strategies.
I am naturally curious, open-minded, and empathetic. I have experienced my own challenges in life, which led me to counselling, and it is this experience that drives my passion to support others.
