Do you struggle with issues related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, substance use, emotional dysregulation and trauma? Are you struggling to find meaning and balance within your life and feel like you need help processing your thoughts and feelings? I work with individuals experiencing a diverse range of issues aimed at helping clients achieve a higher sense of self-understanding and awareness. Specifically, I work with active individuals. Whether you're a professional athlete or an avid recreationalist, I work with clients to help them find and maintain a meaningful relationship with sport, exercise and the outdoors.
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to counselling. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment to help understand the client's worldview and unique needs. I incorporate concepts from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Narrative Therapy.
Reaching out for help is a difficult thing to do, especially when you are really struggling. I am here to meet you wherever you may be, and to help guide you towards figuring out what you need to be happy and to enjoy life again.
