I can imagine too that you might be hurting or struggling and are in need of support and relief. Perhaps you are confused about how you are feeling but know that you are in need of a change. Are you searching for someone to talk to about what you are experiencing? I believe that we all need help at times in our lives and don’t have to go it alone. Together we can explore what exists beneath those questions. Just know that I want to hear from you. I believe that what you have to say and what you are feeling is valid.
I practice a relational modality of therapy and so the relationship between you and I is an essential component. My therapeutic style is one of warmth, openness, and curiosity. I want you to feel safe in our sessions. I know this doesn’t always happen quickly, but together we can work towards creating a space for you to explore your needs, hopes, and fears.
My wish for my clients is to be able to live full, authentic, and rich lives. While I welcome all to my practice, I am passionate about working with people who have had adverse childhood experiences, such as abuse or trauma, and as a result are finding disruptive or destructive patterns continuing in their present lives.
