Tara Zadeh, M.D. is a Registered Psychotherapist and a Licentiate of Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) with a combined over 15 years of experience in helping clients with wide range of mental health challenges from longstanding severe mental conditions, PTSD, concurrent disorder to more common issues such as depression and anxiety, life transition, relationship issues, anger management, family conflict, grief and loss. In the past 15 years she has tailored her working experience in the field of mental heath and addiction, taking up different roles in diverse mental health settings.
In addition to her intensive generalist training in counselling and psychotherapy, she sought in-depth training in a variety of psychotherapy modalities in particular, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused, Strength-Based Therapy, CBT, Internal Family System (IFS), Attachment-based, Polyvagal-informed and other trauma treatments.
Tara is a compassionate, client-centered and culturally sensitive clinical counselor and therapist with the goal of empowering her clients by tapping to their inner strengths, resilience and resources and assisting them in developing a plan to overcome their challenges and reaching to their fullest potentials.
