I have been providing clinical counselling for over 24 years. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, Senior’s, families and couples. I work from a collaborative, strength based approach that is mindful of cultural, ethnic and economic concerns. My goal is to help individuals to understand the link between their emotions, thoughts and behaviors to assist them to have insight about the impact in their life and to assist them in making positive changes. My focus is on listening to individual concerns while providing a safe environment to address them.
I utilize multiple counselling strategies by applying the best practices to meet the needs of the individual. Therapeutic approaches include, but are not limited to: Client Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Therapy, Reality Therapy and Dialectical Therapy.
I am passionate about self care and assisting people through their most challenging times. I understand the difficulty in allowing yourself to be vulnerable while sharing your story and therefore provide a safe and calming space for you to do comfortably.
