I am a registered psychologist with specific training and experience related to trauma with children, teens, and adults. I am certified to practice EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and have received trauma focused training at the Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute. I integrate interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, play therapy, and somatic therapy.

I am here to stand alongside clients as they navigate the complex tapestry of emotions, including guilt and shame that may arise from oppressive systems. I firmly believe in the inherent potential within each person and their ability to unlock strengths and intrinsic capabilities through empathetic and non-judgemental support. My name is Jack Lilja. I enjoy working with people who are motivated to change. Making the decision to connect with a therapist is the most important first step in creating change. I work with adults and teens with low mood, low motivation, worry, low self-esteem, academic and work stress, family tension, trauma, and more. My goal is to work together to achieve your personal goals for change. I offer evening, weekend, and weekday appointments in-person at Mountain Ridge Health Centre in Lethbridge and phone appointments across Alberta. In addition to my clinical work, I also provide psychoeducation assessments for students experiencing academic challenges.

Hello, I'm a Registered Psychologist and have worked in the addiction and mental health field for 10 years. I've had the privilege of working in diverse settings which include; inpatient treatment centres, non-profit organizations, outpatient clinics, post-secondary institutions, and small private practice offices. I prioritize building a secure therapeutic relationship with those I work with and utilize evidence-based interventions to address concerns related to mental health, substance use, relationships, problematic sexual behaviour, sexual dysfunction, and issues relating to overall sexual health.

I began my trauma care journey 35 years ago after surving the San Francisco earthquake, working with emergency response teams and teaching disaster psychology. In 1998, I completed my graduate degree in counselling psychology with an emphasis on health and began advocating for teens with ADHD. In 2018 I licensed in Alberta as a provisional psychologist and have been in private practice.

Hi! My name is Lindsay and I am a Registered Psychologist with a M.C. in Counselling Psychology. I have worked in the mental health field since 2007. Life can be challenging. I'm a registered social worker that specializes in trauma focused grief and loss therapy, and I have training and experience in working with prolonged, complicated, and traumatic bereavement. Sometimes our grief has nothing to do with death, and this practice is welcoming to those grieving a relationship, a job, a religion, or any lost future. I am also an acute healthcare worker looking to support other healthcare workers with their experience of moral distress, vicarious trauma, and burnout.

My approach to therapy can help you recover from traumatic events and find relief from the crippling anxiety, depression, and feelings of being overwhelmed that can follow.
