I treat individuals with or without a formal diagnosis who share features associated with ASD and struggle with isolation, interpersonal difficulties, anxiety and depressed mood and employment challenges. Services are tailored to address individuals' specific needs.
Through a strengths-based and client-centered approach, I help individuals use their unique strengths to learn effective coping and stress management skills, improve social functioning, promote adaptive coping, and live life to the fullest. Research-informed approaches include CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, The Gottman Method to couple therapy, and Mindfulness.
I partner with families in their homes or in my office setting. I understand the importance of supporting individuals with ASD in their home environment. My innovative approach include effective follow up support as individuals and families interact with the school, the social service system, the workplace and the world around them.
