Hi, I'm Sylvia and I'm so glad you're here! I believe at some point or another, we’ve all experienced something that has changed our life. That’s why it’s important within my practice to develop a space where you feel safe and supported. I want to create a strong therapeutic alliance, one where you have a voice and a place to be your true, authentic self. Everyone has the capacity to be resilient and I want our sessions to foster this inner strength. Our time together is ultimately your time.
I'm comfortable working with children, youth, adults and families and have plenty of experience in not-for-profit, educational and private practice settings. Since effective therapy doesn't take a one-size-fits-all approach, I offer cognitive-behavioural therapy, DBT, EMDR, ART, narrative therapy, sand tray therapy and much more according to your needs.
