The process of therapy can be daunting, and can bring up lots of different feelings, including nervousness, overwhelming thoughts, and intimidation, to name a few. But did you know it can also bring forward other things like silliness, validation, and just a space to breath and talk? As an RP (Qualifying), I hope to bring forward the latter and help create a safe, warm, comforting space for you to work through whatever has brought you into my office. Together, we can work out therapeutic goals, process life events, or just hold space for talking.
I can support you with a range of mental health struggles including anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem. I have an eclectic approach, meaning my approach is centred around you! We will work together to develop the appropriate treatment plan that resonates with you and your goals, which could include elements from DBT, ACT, SFBT, and more.
Therapy can be and feel like a lot of things, but one thing it is not is a one-size-fits-all formula, nor is it about "fixing" you. Instead, I would be honoured to help you navigate your journey, and provide support wherever you may need in however form we see fit.
