I specialize in the area of trauma including acute, chronic, or complex as well as the resulting grief, anxiety, depression, and addictions that may have developed. I am passionate about helping women understand that the coping mechanisms that evolved were functional and helped you survive in times of difficulty. These may now show up as patterns that hold you back and cause you to think, feel, and behave in ways that no longer serve you. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and the ability to learn new skills to become free of overwhelming fear, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
I have a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental presence that creates a safe space for you to grow in self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-compassion. I help you understand your nervous system and the ways you have tried to feel safe in the world. I help you find your way back to your inner knowing, strength, and wisdom.
My own personal history of trauma, healing, and growth motivates me to help others. My experience of finding self-worth, self-love, self-compassion, safety, and connection inspires me to share that possibility with others. Women's Healing Circle
Women are being called to reconnect to their power and their feminine energy which includes their intuition, collaborative intelligence and ways of knowing. I created this group to bring women together to experience the power of the feminine, to share their stories, and to experience connection through healing rituals, poems, song and meditation. When women heal themselves in a community of other women they can uplift, empower, and inspire others. The Women's Healing Circle is an educational and process group that runs for six consecutive Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Date: TBA Location: Nanaimo, BC.
