I am a registered clinical social worker and I have had the pleasure of working with youth and families for over 20 years. I use a collaborative approach in treatment to individual youth and to families grounded in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Structural Family Therapy. These approaches respect the client/family and the therapeutic relationship. I support the values of the individuals and families and the expertise they bring while working together toward their desired goals.
I have a specific interest and expertise in offering family therapy and broader supports related to family functioning (e.g., conflict resolution, improved communication, adjusting to family transitions, co-parenting, and blended family role). I am also interested and able to support and treat various adolescent issues and concerns.
