Strong Ties – Child & Family Services is a specialized counselling clinic that focuses on helping children, adolescents and families. Some of the issues we focus on include behavioural issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, anger, trauma, relationship/school issues, and separation/divorce.
We believe in creating empowering, collaborative and safe environments where children, teens and adults can grow and heal. Our therapeutic approach is warm, practical and non-judgemental.
With children we use play and expressive therapy; our play room has a variety of toys, games, and art material that kids enjoy. With teens, adults and families we do talk therapy, provide parent support and/or family counselling. In cases of separation and divorce, our Clinical Director is trained to provide co-parenting counselling and divorce coaching.
