I specialize in treating a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, behavioural concerns, substance use, and relational issues and family dynamics, using CBT, DBT, ABA, and EMDR. The type of therapy, or combination of types, that best supports your goals is chosen collaboratively, and can look different depending on what you want to achieve. I work with some populations that may require a more specialized approach, including individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, first responders or public safety personnel, and individuals with acquired brain injuries.
I have considerable experience developing functional assessments and behaviour plans for both adults and children, and am available to provide this service to individuals under PDD or FSCD contracts. I also provide assessments for adults who think they may have ADHD or Autism, and help to develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
I provide assessments of cognitive and adaptive functioning for individuals 16 and over who may need to know if an intellectual disability is present in order to secure funding, and also provide capacity assessments for individuals who may need guardianship or trusteeship. I am also available to provide individual or corporate training on any of the above.
