I am a warm, caring, and insightful psychotherapist. I provide calming support to individual adolescents and adults facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and trauma. I believe that we all have the ability to work through challenges and to make lasting positive changes, and I recognize the courage that it takes to reach out for assistance. My approach is respectful, client-centred and trauma-informed; I offer a safe, interested and accepting space for each client to work towards better mental health.
After many years working as a lawyer at a community legal clinic, I recognized my desire to support and empower my clients with a different set of skills . I obtained a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, having previously obtained my B.Sc. and LL.B. My current practice is enriched by my diverse legal work experience.
