I believe that every individual has the potential and the capacity to face hardship with strength and resiliency. My passion is to help clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of their lives to discover their own strengths in the face of adversity and to celebrate the best versions of themselves. Through the therapeutic relationship I desire to create a collaborative, safe, non-judgmental and vulnerable space where clients can come to be seen, heard and known.
Whether through unexpected or planned life transition, challenging circumstances, daily battle with chronic illness or pain, or simply seeking to become the best version of themselves, my passion is to provide individuals with coping skills, management strategies and resources to gain self-confidence and to move from where they are to where they want to be.
My passion for counseling has been stirred by my own life experiences and need for support during, what felt like, impossible obstacles. It was not that long ago that I was the person sitting across from a counselor with feelings of defeat. Through counseling I gained the tools and resources to face tremendous growth to be able to begin again.
