Are you struggling with feelings of restlessness, overwhelm, or numbness? Is this impacting your ability to connect, support yourself, or feel joy? Sometimes this results from unprocessed past experiences that become stored in our body tissues and nervous system. As a Somatic Counsellor, I can support you at the mind-body interface, engaging with the body on an experiential level to nurture aspects asking for attention and care. Together we can honour your unique lived experience and discover what your system is needing. My specialties are supporting highly sensitive individuals, stress-related health conditions, and chronic pain.
In our work, we may explore Somatic Therapy techniques such as nervous system regulation, body awareness, parts work, or creative visualizations to increase the body’s capacity to tolerate stress. Grounded in neuro-plasticity, we can begin to re-wire habitual patterns and behaviours to uncover a more radiant version of self.
