Struggles at school or at work? Feel like you are underachieving based on your potential and the amount of time and effort you put into tasks? Do you wonder whether you, or your child, may have a learning disability, ADHD, or other challenges to your learning and/or effective performance? If you answered yes to any of these questions, a psycho-educational assessment may be a helpful step in discovering more about your learning profile, potentially confirming a diagnosis, and recommending accommodations, interventions, and/or strategies to best support your academic or vocational success.

Work-life balance can be difficult to manage on your own, especially if you are struggling with mental health; whether that be from a recent traumatic event or historical trauma. Layered in this can be undiagnosed learning conditions and/or caregiving responsibility, which can lead to heightened emotional stress or crisis. It is helpful to have a support network; either in your personal life, in the community, or even medically. Creating boundaries for ones self is a big step and I can help through this by providing solution-focused, goal oriented strategies, hopefully creating more balance and getting back to your 'normal self'.

Hi, my name is Juliane Hydamaka. I’m a registered social worker who has held a variety of roles within my field. Regardless of my role, my passion was always in one on one support, building relationships, and helping people to navigate the complexities of their life. As a counsellor, I feel I’m truly where I am supposed to be; offering guidance, empathy, and an understanding of how vulnerable it can feel to open up to someone. My hope is to ease that discomfort by creating a space where you feel heard and safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
