Adults, children, and their families are continuing to cope with tremendous stress since the pandemic, and this sometimes shows up in mood and anxiety issues that may not resolve on their own. You may have noticed an increase in concern for the mental well-being of yourself and those most important to you. Moreover, if you have experienced trauma, grief, family discord or other big life challenges, knowing what to do and how to heal gets overwhelming, no matter how recent these events occurred. Clients are typically looking to relieve emotional distress, resolve difficult circumstances, and find hope even when it seems far away.
Recently retired from hospital healthcare, I continue to work with adults, children and youth, families and couples. I have specific experience in child and adolescent mental health, grief and loss in families including pregnancy and infant loss, and in high conflict relationships. I am also trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefs.
