Do you struggle with unhelpful thoughts or overwhelming emotions? Are you constantly worrying or putting yourself down? Are you struggling with things from your past that are influencing your present, or just struggling day-to-day? I understand that starting counselling can be a difficult and sometimes scary endeavour. If you are newly pregnant or have just had a baby, are struggling with anxiety, lack of motivation, sadness or depression, relationship issues, unresolved trauma, feeling overly stressed or stuck in your life, among other things, I can help.
I primarily work through a compassionate, trauma-focused lens of EMDR/IFS, . This means that I will help you to understand your history, family dynamics, unhelpful self-talk, thoughts, emotions, and actions and how they may be influencing your current situation, and how to move forward in processing them and letting go.
I am an empathetic, non-judgmental therapist that values the connection you and I build working together. Let me work collaboratively with you to help achieve your goals and become your best self - whatever that means to you! I offer both in-person and online sessions.
