Feeling lost or overwhelmed? Life stressors that seem unmanageable? Dealing with the impacts of trauma or other mental health concerns? Want to focus on your overall wellness and become more present with the self? As a counsellor, I take a trauma-informed care approach with all my clients to insure that you feel safe, comfortable, and have choices on what your wellness journey may look like. I have experience working with, but not limited to, the following: trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder, grief, eating disorders, addiction, and concurrent disorders.
I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which has helped individuals move past trauma and mental health symptoms in one session. I may also utilize one of the following approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, or Dr. Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry.
I am a registered social worker with my Masters in Social Work. My clinical focus is on ages 15+. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation, which will give you the opportunity to get to know me, and explore if what I have to offer will be the right fit for you. I look forward to speaking with you.
