My expertise is in C-PTSD/survivors of abuse. Using evidence-based approaches, I work to help people explore various tools that we all need to overcome challenges and manage our mental health. I am continuously honored to be included as a client's chosen help in working towards better overall wellness, invited into a person's utmost personal sphere.
I am trained in DBT, Trauma-Focused ACT, and CBT, all of which help clients explore their thought patterns, use somatic mindfulness-based exercises, learn about difficult emotions, and work towards new and useful ways of coping.
Clients have told me that they feel safe with me; one of the most important compliments I can receive. I offer a non-judgmental space for anything that can come up in a session (really!). My long-term experience with marginalized populations in society has enriched my practice into a truly radical acceptance and compassionate approach.
