I provide psychotherapy which is grounded on listening and understanding. There is much for me to hear before I get the full picture of what is going on in your life, and lots to discover for you and me together before the time comes for my expert advice. My main discovery of the last decade is that people can come to many therapists, for many times and yet not become ready ever to say openly what is the matter. It is why I know my clients need time to assume that I am really on their side. To figure out, bit by bit, what the possible advice or solution can be and then help you to do that we decide to do, I have my basic training in client-centered psychotherapy (“by Carl Rogers”), and I am a very, very orthodox Rogerian therapist. In addition, I have studied cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectic-behavioral therapy, music psychotherapy and non-directive child play psychotherapy. I will apply in your situation that which matches your particular needs. Also, I realized that some ideas of psychoanalysis, Adlerian psychotherapy, Existential therapy and Logotherapy can be helpful as well.
Since I began my private practice in 1994, I have learned from my clients how it is to be a particular person of present days; how overwhelming life can be and how much just everyone needs the safety and acceptance to rethink what has happened and what should be done next.
It may be depression, unhealthy relationships, mental disturbance, your exhausting fight against some bodily sickness, chronic academic failure or deep worries for loved ones that will lead you to me. It can be almost anything else, but whatever the condition, it is only you who can make up your own mind, and I will firmly back you up in this. And it will be you who is judging how well we are progressing.
