It's understandable to feel overwhelmed or shut down when life is hard; situations difficult and relationships confusing. We usually cannot control our outside experiences, at times making it hard to cope. I work with people who want to enhance their ability to respond to life’s challenges with greater ease, confidence, and knowing. I support individuals to overcome feelings of anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, self harm, and trauma. I will gently guide you through a process of discussion and reflection to promote understanding and awareness as you develop skills to foster change.
It is my intention to honour your inner experience; respect your needs, and identify your goals, as you acquire skills to enhance your nervous systems capacity for calm and joy. I work from a collaborative, client centred, and trauma informed approach. At times art therapy and mindfulness approaches are incorporated.
I'm here to support you to gain new insights and opportunities for self growth. No special skills or abilities are required to engage in talk or art therapy. I offer services for adults and teens.
