It's understandable to feel overwhelmed or shut down when life is hard; situations difficult and relationships confusing. We usually cannot control our outside experiences making it hard to cope. I support individuals to overcome feelings of anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, self harm, and trauma. Through an empathetic and supportive therapeutic connection one can learn to navigate big emotions, difficult moods, and challenging patterns in healthy ways. I will gently guide you through a process of self reflection and discussion to promote self awareness as you develop skills to foster change.
It's my intention to honour your inner experience; respect your needs, and identify your goals, as you enhance your capacity for calm and joy. I work from a collaborative, client centred perspective, and trauma informed approach. At times art therapy and mindfulness approaches are incorporated.
I'm here to support you to gain new insights and opportunities for self growth. I work with adults, teens, and children 8 plus and older. No special skills or abilities are required to engage in talk or art therapy. I welcome your inquiries and will respond within one business day.
