A common challenge in accessing therapy is finding a therapist who shares your values. The right fit is important. It can be difficult to explore the issues and experiences that are bringing you in, if you feel you have to educate your therapist on your identity. I believe you are the expert on your own experience. I enjoy working with individuals, and relationships (including non-monogamous, polyamorous, etc.). There are many reasons for folks to seek therapy including finding a non-judgemental, safe(r) space to explore issues such as; gender identity, sexual orientation, relationships, grief, and anxiety.
I specialize in working with 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, relationships and families. My goal is to create a therapeutic space that is affirming and celebratory of queer identities and resilience. I am a white settler, cisgender, queer parent who lives and works on Treaty 1 territory. I work from a feminist, healing-centred and harm-reduction framework.
