I believe mental health is not a permanent state but a dynamic one, characterized by periods of equilibrium and disequilibrium. The latter can manifest as frustration, disappointment, helplessness, somatic pain, chronic fatigue, dysfunction, job loss, impulsive behaviors, relational difficulties, and varying levels of anxiety. The good news is that, together, we can successfully navigate these periods of disequilibrium to achieve a higher level of growth and a new equilibrium through our therapeutic sessions.
I empathetically help clients to raise their self-awareness and self-compassion. I support them in recognizing and eliminating self-defeating and self-ignorant patterns. Additionally, I empower them in observing, managing their anxiety and experiencing the underlying mixed unconscious feelings that fuel their symptoms.
By relying on the psychological assessment and the most appropriate ISTDP techniques, I patiently facilitate the way of building capacity, increasing affect tolerance, managing anxiety, and experiencing unconscious feelings, which helps clients to free themselves from past trauma and conflictual experiences to become the best version of themselves.
