In my own life experience, I have learned two fundamental rules that support my work. First, I believe in the healing power of an authentic human connection and I prioritize the therapeutic relationship to create a safe, non-judgmental space for our work together. Second, through my travels and move from Italy to Canada, I learned that at the core of any life transition or challenge is a quest to focus our attention on our life stories and see ourselves as the active protagonists of these stories. I believe we are not called to this journey alone and there are times in our lives when we may need to reach out for help.
My experience includes working with individuals, couples, youth and families who faced a variety of different issues and concerns. I have a deep specific interest in supporting people who deal with the challenges of being a foreigner, immigrant or newcomer. I work from a client centered, anti-oppressive and trauma informed perspective.
There are times in which we feel lost, down, depressed, and anxious. During our time together, I will meet you at the delta between your past and future to listen to your story. I will sit with you and help you to process your emotions and thoughts, endure hardship and grow your perspective.
