Samantha is an alumni of Yorkville University with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health.
Samantha has a special interest in person-centered therapy with specialized trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Sam has recently completed intensive sex therapy training and advanced training with the Gottman’s Institute to be able to provide supports to couples at Läka .
In her free time, Sam is either outdoors with her Mini Australian Shepard or practicing Yoga. Samantha’s favourite season is Summer as she loves to be out on the water where she spends her off time as a certified captain.
