Dr. Sabrina Lombardi provides neuropsychological and psychological assessment, therapy and cognitive rehabilitation for individuals with concussion, traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, as well as other conditions such as OCD, chronic pain and insomnia. Her approach to concussion management seeks to identify and treat barriers to recovery. She is registered with WSIB Community Mental Health Program and HCAI (auto-insurance). She has extensive experience assisting individuals with return to work or school following concussion or acquired brain injury.
Dr. Lombardi obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Neuropsychology from York University. She went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at Toronto Rehab (UHN) through her work with the Canadian Sports Concussion Project (now Canadian Concussion Centre). Dr. Lombardi also gives presentations on concussion education/management.
Dr. Lombardi strongly believes in client-centered, evidence-based care, where she works with the client to develop and further individual mental health and cognitive goals.
