Hello! I am a registered social worker who has been working with children, youth, and families in Fort St John for 12 years. When I started, I fell in love with the safety, creativity, and fun of expressive therapies. I am constantly amazed by how much someone can achieve when they aren't made to rely on words alone to express their needs and learn new skills.
I have received intensive training in both Child-Centered Play Therapy as well as Filial Play Therapy and am excited to share these skills and strategies with you and your family. Used on their own or in conjunction with more traditional therapies, these evidence-based play therapies are proven to be effective at making and sustaining changes.
