As a mental health therapist, I help people experiencing distress enhance their sense of personal wellbeing and overall happiness. Over the years I have worked with adults, youth and families experiencing struggles with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, stress, relationship conflict, divorce and unresolved family issues.
In my practice, I use several therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, emotional focus therapy (EFT), and more.
It is important for me to make therapy feel normal. I can help people overcome difficult situations to make them feel empowered and in control of their thoughts, emotions, and life. I like to create a safe space for children and youth to express their emotions.

DBT Skills
Our group is a fun and interactive atmosphere where participants learn new skills to overcome their challenges. It is also an opportunity to meet other people who share similar struggles. We use activities to facilitate the learning experience. You will leave with tangible strategies that will help you cope with emotional regulation, anxiety and depression. It is an intensive group of 6 sessions spread over 2 weeks.
