Welcoming new clients! There are many reasons to seek therapy, whether you are going through a challenging time or simply looking for a change of perspective. I work collaboratively with my clients using an integrative, holistic, and evidence-based approach to tailor a therapeutic experience that is effective and beneficial. I specialize in treating clients who have experienced complex trauma, have anxiety or mood disorders, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, as well as clients who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse.
As a woman of colour, I look at all aspects of a person's experience and use an intersectional lens to help clients develop self-awareness and work on themselves in order to gain deeper understanding of the "why". In treating the person as a whole, I am able to understand their upbringing and how they were shaped into the current version of themselves.
As a registered psychotherapist, I aim to help my clients achieve certainty and health in all areas of their life. It is my goal to work with clients to get to a place where they feel good about themselves as a whole, as well as their decision-making skills, their coping strategies and their daily habits.
