It is human to struggle, we all have our ups and downs and being isolated in our emotional experience can just make it worse. Most emotions and behaviour makes sense in context. However, when left on our own to try to piece together our challenges, we can find ourselves plagued with self doubt and often feel lost. Therapy can help you see your situation objectively, accept even the imperfect parts of yourself, and work to use these parts as a roadmap into better health and well-being. We are not always able to control what life throws our way, but with help, we can transform these experiences into personal growth and wisdom.
We are a team of therapists dedicated to helping you see yourself and your struggles in a new light and move towards resilience and self-appreciation. Our approach is client-centered, mindful & compassionate. This means that we get to know you well, and use a non-judgmental, collaborative, and adaptive approach to help you feel understood and empowered.
It's our pleasure to help you develop a greater sense of well-being, more satisfying relationships, and a great capacity to change harmful behaviours. As psychologist Carl Rogers famously said, "When I accept myself as I am, then I can change." We too believe that deep, sustaining change comes from self-acceptance and attunement with our values and needs.
