Cultural values, family history and rigid expectations about our future can shape the stories we have about ourselves. These stories can begin to feel heavy and leave us feeling “not good enough.” I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, imposter syndrome, self-worth and relationships. Together we work to understand your relationship with yourself, and the impacts of your environment on your wellbeing. I support in developing healthy boundaries and coping strategies. I use both exploratory methods of Internal Family Systems and Narrative Therapy as well as skills based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I believe we all have the tools within us to support our healing. When we turn our attention inward, it can reveal certain patterns present in our life, such as how we relate to others or respond to our own needs. We work together to shift the patterns that no longer serve you, while holding compassion for the protective role they provided over the years.
Our work together is about connecting to the inherent strength and wisdom that is in all of us. I work alongside you to define the steps towards your goals and embody the life you want for yourself. I also believe in cultivating conscious joy. I practice this in my life through my work as a wedding planner, and would love to help bring joy into yours.
