I work with you to try to integrate the mind, body and soul. I believe these three elements of our being together heal and allow us all to work through our past or current trauma and they allow us to build our new future self. In my practice, the client drives the model that works for them, and my role as your therapist is to understand your objectives and support you in the direction to get there. A holistic sense of self is awareness on multiple levels, so a mind, body and soul exploration and transformation is crucial to understand and shift ourselves.
My experience has always pivoted and aligned to offer the client what they need. Focusing on behavioral and emotional management. Now as a stage 4 cancer patient, my model has slightly shifted. I offer a perspective on life that is unique in nature. One that explores our feelings of anxiety, depression and other emotions with an understanding lens.
Like many others, I draw upon multiple modalities to work with including CBT, Psychodynamic, Mindfullness, Existential and others. The difference I offer is to integrate this approach with some practical application practices that I pull from authors for books such as "The power of now", " Atomic Habits", "The code of the extraordinary mind" and others.
