I work with individuals, couples and families to address their concerns and guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I can help you explore a wide range of concerns such as sexual trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety and depression. My skills emphasis the importance of listening and creating a compassionate and respectful environment for my clients to discuss their concerns.
I have specialized experience related to sexual violence and complex trauma. As a former Supervisor of Counselling and Programs at the Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Services (SAVIS) of Halton, I have extensive experience working with survivors of violence, specifically sexual abuse and trauma.
I believe that effective therapy is practical, solution focused and client centered. In each therapeutic session, I encourage active participation of clients in process, goals and outcomes. The therapeutic process can vary, depending on the individual. I look forward to working with you.
