You are not alone. Some of our thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and experiences may lead us to that place where we can feel isolated and lost. The darkness is all around. I do this work primarily because I hope we can go together to that darkness. Together, we can move through this pain to the other side.
I work with adults, children/youth and their parents experiencing anxiety, adjustment, codependency (ex., supporting a loved one with substance use issues or mental illness) and depression often as people experience change in their lives and identity. I often work with high-achieving individuals and artists who are frequently neurodiverse and gifted.
Change and new experiences are challenging. We can feel in control in one moment, and suddenly, all our perfect balance and planning seem to be on shaky ground. This darkness and unpredictability can seem strange and scary. I would be honoured if we could face this together.
