I am a clinical psychologist in Ottawa, Ontario. My main areas of practices are trauma-related disorders and dissociation, attachment disorders, parenting challenges and peripartum disorders. I also provide parent coaching and support in separation planning. I conduct mental health assessments, parent-child emotional availability assessments, and parenting assessments (S.30). I draw on my training in attachment-based interventions and cognitive behavioural therapy to support clients in a way that suits their personal needs. I believe we move forward with the events of our past by telling our story, bringing awareness to hurt and loss, and finding meaning. I invite clients to journal as a way reflect outside the therapy space.
I am certified in the facilitation of the Circle of Security Parenting Program, clinical applications of the Adult Attachment Interview, assessment of parent-child Emotional Availability and treatment of perinatal disorders and birth trauma.
