Life and relationships can be complicated and at times we can find ourselves in a place where we are unsure of how to proceed. I believe that you are the expert of your own story, and there is hope and direction for your life. As someone who has lived in multiple countries and worked with international students from around the world, I recognize that each person sees life through different contexts and worldviews in relation to their individual experiences. I offer culturally sensitive therapy which is individualized to you and your personal story.
As a marriage therapist, I am dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of their relationships. I facilitate couples in defining their patterns of engagement or “the dance” as we call it in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I also gently and empathically help individuals who are navigating the complex emotions of grief and loss.
My desire as a therapist is to walk alongside you with empathy and compassion while personalizing the therapies needed, to bring you hope and healing. I have experience working with both individuals and couples. I use Family Systems Therapy, attachment-based Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and am trauma informed. I am also Grief Counselling certified.
