I am a cisgender South Asian immigrant to Canada who has been privileged to work with individuals of all genders and orientations, and from diverse backgrounds. As a parent of a neurodivergent child, I have both lived experience and training in helping children, teens, adults, and families find strength, strategies, and resilience
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Registered Art Therapist (RCAT) with training in Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts, Somatic and Attachment-based therapies (EFIT, IFS & SP) and Humanistic Integrative Counselling. I practise from a client-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive framework.
I am passionate about art psychotherapy, somatic therapies, graphic medicine, digital creative processes, as well as restorative arts practices to guide mind-body connection and healing. I practise ongoing therapist self-reflection and reflexivity, cultural humility, a client-centered approach that is contextual, and advocacy for systemic change.
