People often seek counselling when they find themselves stuck in vicious cycles related to their relationships, their behaviours, or their self-talk. Much of my work involves helping people to break free from these cycles, and move towards a more fulfilling and peaceful life. I specialize in working with anxiety/panic, relationships, and disordered eating/body-image. I also have a special interest in helping first responders.
I hold a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I use a trauma-informed approach and integrate various evidence-based therapies to suit each client's needs, such as CBT, mindfulness-based approaches and the Gottman Method.
