Ms. Hagarty has 25 years of progressive experience within the field of psychology. She is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta and a Clinical Traumatologist. She has proven competency in psychological assessments including: psychoeducational, clinical, capacity, Occupational Stress Injury/PTSI(D)/Trauma. Ms. Hagarty also provides psychological consultation, and psychological counselling intervention within evidence based therapeutic modalities and standardized assessment procedures using best practice. Office hours are from Monday - Thursday 9 - 5:30 pm.
Ms. Hagarty has particular interests in Anxiety, Depression, PTSI (D)/ Occupational Stress Injury, Age & Stage Issues. She has acquired Alberta Fire Fighter Association's Occupational Awareness Training for Treating First Responder Trauma.
Ms. Hagarty has a unique interest and competence in traumatic/occupational stress with first responders including: RCMP, Veteran's, Firefighters and EMS. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), Cognitive Therapy, Systematic Desensitization.
