Reaching out for help takes courage and finding the right therapist can be daunting. As a highly empathetic and collaborative therapist, I understand the importance of a good fit and treat each client as a unique individual and expert on their own life. I trust that, with support, you can feel empowered enough to tackle your challenge, whether that be managing an overwhelming situation or symptoms of anxiety or depression, clearing unwanted patterns, resolving past issues, or perhaps finding a deeper sense of life purpose. As a highly sensitive person, I can also help fellow HSPs better understand and work with their unusual traits.
As a treatment provider, I am flexible, creative, and comfortable using a variety of therapeutic techniques that are organically integrated into each session. I use evidence-based and complementary techniques across many perspectives, from brain-body based to the transpersonal, including trauma-focused, psychodynamic, somatic, and imaginal strategies.
My training also helps me to identify clinical issues requiring extra support, such as ADHD, serious mental health issues, and more. I believe that creating a safe, client-focused, and experiential atmosphere fosters the opportunity to build insight and the courage to change.
