Personal relationships, anxiety/fear/depression and trauma are my main areas of interest. Each of these can negatively influence and impede us from making positive changes in our lives. It is my belief that our well being is founded, first and foremost, on empathetic, supportive, relationships. Therefore, our work together, whether one to one or with your partner or another family member, will in part, entail an exploration of patterns of behaviour, coping mechanisms and major life events that help answer the questions 'how did I get here?' and 'why do I feel so bad?'
Depression, anxiety, agressive behaviour, obtrusive thoughts, low self-esteem, relational conflict, substance abuse, all of these can develop out of broken and/or unhealthy relationships or traumatic events where no supportive, empathetic relationship existed.
As we work together to discover patterns of behaviour, gain insight into and understanding of your thouhgts, feelings and beliefs, we can begin to explore new ways inwhich you can connect and be with others in an authentic, positive way.
