I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Victoria. I have over 15 years experience working with families and individuals experiencing a variety of challenges. I counsel and support individuals and families who struggle with mental health and substance use, parenting, family conflict, relationship issues and a variety of other topics. I offer a strength based approach and have training in a variety of therapeutic models such as lifespan integration trauma therapy, narrative therapy, emotion focused family therapy and motivational interviewing.
Over the years, I have found that people are most successful in creating change when they can talk about their experiences with someone who can help make sense of or assist with better managing thoughts, feelings and emotions.
I truly believe we are the experts of our own stories and I look forward to supporting you as you create the changes you would like to see in your life.
