Psychodynamic psychotherapy is an approach focused on alleviating psychological distress and symptoms. Clients seek this form of therapy for a variety of reasons, often to overcome challenging emotions, behaviors, thoughts, or relationship issues. Central to my approach is a mindful and empathetic style of listening. Within our sessions, you'll be encouraged to engage in free association, a process of unrestricted self-expression.
This collaborative exploration of your life history opens avenues to explore often overlooked or unconscious facets of your experiences, which might underlie the distress leading you to therapy. My approach strives to provide the space for discussing what was previously unspoken, fostering insight, transformative change, and relief from symptoms.
