I support adults with ADHD who want to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives. Adult ADHD can cause challenges with scheduling, time management, organization, relationships, and emotions. People can feel consistently behind, disorganized, overwhelmed, and easily frustrated. I help clients figure out what goals are most important to them, and we work together to organize the chaos so there is more time, energy, and patience for the things that really matter. You do not need an official ADHD diagnosis to work with me.

ADHD, Stress/Anxiety, Self-Esteem, LGBTQIA+. You have a hard time "turning off" your racing mind and are feeling stressed. It might be hard for you to focus and you find yourself struggling to get things done. Perhaps you are struggling with procrastination, low motivation, or feeling in a "funk" because life is just too much sometimes. When you are stressed and overwhelmed, it can be hard to feel good about yourself and make the changes you'd like to see. If you are ready to work on yourself and start feeling better, you have come to the right place! You deserve to start feeling like YOU again.

I work with children, youth and adults. Some of my areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, identity and self-understanding, ADD/ADHD, and trauma (PTSD). I also have experience working with people who struggle with addictions, suicide ideation, and self-harm. My work perspective is based on the Strengths Model, which means that I believe that once we understand the root of our weaknesses, we can turn them into strengths. In addition, my approach is informed by the Narrative and Attachment Theory models, tailored to the specific needs of the person and/or family.

I specialize in working with people in life transitions, and people who are neurodivese, including ADHD and learning differences, including parents! I often see people when they are ready for change and need support with life transition- including parenting, separation, illness, career, education, new diagnosis.
Life can feel hard some times and I know reaching out for support is an act of self compassion. Welcome. Working with client's interests/comfort I interweave neurobiology, body based (somatic) interventions and expressive arts therapy, as well as ‘talk therapy’. These are engaged through a resilience and trauma informed lens. No creative/ artistic experience necessary, only your curiosity. I both have life and clinical experience with ADHD and learning differences and work with clients who live with ADHD. Particularly late treatment or late diagnosis, and especially where it overlaps with relationships, career and parenting.

I combine my personal experience as a chronic warrior and a family caregiver with my professional knowledge and experience to provide compassionate, client-focused therapy & counselling for ADHD, chronic illness, depression, caregiving, grief & loss, anxiety, couples & sex therapy, addictions (alcohol/drugs, sex & gambling), self-esteem, trauma, and burnout.
Living with a chronic illness or disability, or being a family caregiver for a loved one, is complicated and life-changing. Chronic pain, fatigue, medical trauma, burnout, and isolation are all very real challenges that can take a negative toll on your mental health and impact your relationships. I know you have had to do a ton of advocating for yourself or your loved one to ensure needs are being met, and there still remain far too many barriers to getting the support you deserve. You should not have to do this alone. It IS possible to regain control of your life and have a supportive team collaborating with you to meet your goals!

I know what works against anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Racing heart, shaking hands, breathlessness, and an urgent sense of imminent danger are some of the signs of anxiety. Some people have heart palpitations or flutters, prickling sensations, choking sensations, dizziness or nausea. It's important to rule out medical factors, but if a doctor has told you that your symptoms are being caused by stress or anxiety, know that this is a highly treatable condition and it doesn't mean you're weak or crazy. In fact, feeling like you're losing your mind and having difficulty focusing are features of extreme anxiety! We can address this.

I'm available to provide support through a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, ADHD, PMDD, PME, or severe PMS.
My clients experience feelings of overwhelm, neglect, isolation, and anxiety. They feel drained and seek a safe, inclusive environment where they can be heard. Together, we delve into therapeutic approaches aimed at fostering connection and empathy, developing kindness and self-compassion, and devising strategies for coping and growth. My clients often suffer from PMDD or severe PMS, ADHD that is often diagnosed later in life, and resulting anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation that often goes along with these.
