Hello, I’m Loretta, a queer-identifying registered social worker offering individual therapy for adults and youth (10+). My practice is warm and trauma-focused. I believe in co-creating a collaborative, respectful space where we can explore your strengths, inherent wisdom, and resources to support you in moving through life's challenges. I've supported clients in exploring their gender and sexual identity as well as navigating complex trauma, AuDHD/ADHD, anxiety, low mood and substance use. I work particularly well with clients struggling with overthinking, challenges around embodiment, or feeling stuck in relational patterns.

There is so much going on in the world and our lives to need support with. Whether it's ongoing strategies for managing your daily mental health or processing particular experiences of trauma, all experiences and needs are valid. I don't shy away from discussing world/political events, institutional violence, racism, xenophobia, homophobia/transphobia, and other forms of violence and oppression that might be impacting your ability to cope. With your consent, of course. Our mental wellness is also impacted by our outside experience, not just our inner world.

As a queer first-generation immigrant, I felt lost trying to adjust to a new country while grieving the community left behind. I struggled with shame, loneliness, and lack of support. In finding a therapist that understood my experience, shifts started to happen. I felt seen and validated and new possibilities emerged. It is this transformative experience that motivated me to start my practice centering queer and racialized voices with anti-oppression and de-colonization at the forefront.

Hi, I’m Daniel! Are you struggling with your mood, stress, or figuring out your future goals (i.e. career, school, etc.)? Do you feel curious or confused about your gender or sexuality, or are you trying to make sense of your religious or cultural beliefs as a queer person? In this impersonal & tumultuous world, we’re all feeling the weight of our emotions, daily responsibilities and uncertainty about our futures. Now more than ever, we’re feeling overwhelmed with expectations, and uncertain about how we're supposed to manage it all. It shouldn’t be so hard to live a life that feels good, and I truly believe that therapy can help!

I am a registered psychotherapist who has a particular interest in attachment and family therapy. I work with young people and their parents, adults and their parents, siblings of all ages, and individuals. The goal of family work is to help family members work through barriers in their relationships and ideally to reconnect and find safety together. In individual therapy I think systemically and help folks make connections between their mental health struggles and the world around them. I work with clients with depression, anxiety, experiences of trauma and the many other challenges that can cause distress.

Whether we identify as male, female, transgendered, non-binary, mother, father, or other, I know one thing for sure; we are humans playing a part in this game of life. We all practice being human, unconsciously and/or consciously. We all experience life's most difficult trials and troubles and yes, we also experience joy. This is immutable. Given this reality, how can we live our life optimally, rich with purpose and fulfillment while balancing the curve balls, the numbness, the stress, the cravings, or the hurt? The truth is, you can do it. We can do it together. Sometimes all you need is a patient helping hand.

The clients that I connect with are often sensitive and reflective. They may feel somehow different or misunderstood. I work well with teenagers and young adults; queer clients of all ages; people navigating ADHD; folks who have been confined to institutions; and "over-thinkers" who are interested in becoming more connected with themselves, their bodies, and the world around them. My background in critical mental health research grounds my practice in compassion, justice, and freedom.

Each of us are beautifully unique and it is my pleasure to support the unfolding and exploration of my clients’ ways of being. I’m curious about what is important to you and how you are experiencing your life. We can take note of and honour the patterns that have brought you this far in life and create more space for choice and freedom. Practicing Gestalt psychotherapy I work with a trauma-informed lens, experimentation, playfulness and reconnection to the body and spirit to cultivate support for your vitality and understanding of yourself.

Hi, I'm Liz - a clinical psychologist who values building a safe, connected, and empowering therapeutic relationship. I focus on understanding you holistically, choosing depth & experiential change over band-aid solutions & surface conversations. I strive to help you derive meaning from your repeated behavior patterns & complex emotional reactions, as well as deepen self- awareness and strengthen self-worth so you can make personally valued changes when you feel ready for it. I am drawn to working with insecure attachment styles, sex/intimacy issues, highly sensitive folks, queer community, & adult survivors of childhood trauma.
