Understanding that each client brings their own unique story, struggles, and aspirations, I aim to meet you where you are. Your journey may involve navigating the complexities of family dynamics, coping with the physical and emotional changes brought on by perimenopause and menopause, grappling with the impacts of trauma, facing the challenges of addiction, or untangling the intricacies of relationship issues. These situations can often lead to feelings of isolation, overwhelm, and a yearning for a path towards healing and understanding.

Working with a relationship-specialized therapist can aid you in finding resolution, validation, understanding, growth and/or the healing you may seek.
Welcoming NEW clients! Do you find yourself trapped in the same argument you've had countless times before? Does it feel like you and a loved one speak different languages? Have you lost the "spark" in your romantic relationship? Are you struggling with family dynamics, past hurt, or breaking a destructive cycle? The good news is that you are not alone. Every healthy and honest relationship encounters conflict. The challenging part is how we navigate it. Our approach can 'make-or-break' our relationships, and sometimes ourselves, in the process.

I emphasize ensuring a positive therapeutic relationship founded on trust and security to create a safe place for you to heal and grow.
When our emotions start to overwhelm us, we can often feel like we are caught in a loop. One thing leads to another and then another, until we feel so consumed by our emotions and don’t know how to get out. We start to accept our current state as a norm and continue to live in a state of discomfort and restlessness. I am here to support you in breaking the cycle. I offer a compassionate space without judgment for you to decompress and unpack these feelings. My goal is to work collaboratively with you towards therapeutic goals and regain a sense of connection.

I want to help you, especially if you are experiencing relationship/identity issues, anxiety, grief, or trauma. Are you feeling alone in your relationship, worrying that your needs will never be met? Despite your best efforts, you feel like your relationship is slipping away; words can’t seem to fully grasp how you’re feeling. You want to express yourself, but you worry that if you speak up things will get worse. In either situation, you may be asking yourself: am I the problem? You want to rekindle the feelings you once have. You want to feel seen, heard, and understood.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
